This policy explains what information mrwhatley.com collects, why, and what happens to it. Plain English throughout, because a policy nobody can read protects nobody.

This site is operated by The Whatley Family LLC, located at 315 Whitehead Road, Athens, GA 30606. Questions about this policy go to info@mrwhatley.com.
What we collect
Information you give us directly:
- Your name and email address when you request the Free Course or subscribe to the newsletter
- Your name, email, phone number, organization, event details, and budget range when you submit a speaking inquiry
- Your name, email, phone number, company, role, and the information you write in the fields when you submit a consulting application
- Anything you send us through the contact form
Information collected automatically:
- IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and general geographic region
- Pages visited, time on page, referring website, and links clicked
- Email engagement, meaning whether you opened a message and which links you clicked
We do not collect payment information on this site. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
How we collect it
Through forms you fill out, and through cookies and similar technologies including analytics and advertising pixels from Google Analytics 4, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Those technologies let us understand which content works and show relevant material to people who have visited the site.
Why we use it
- To deliver the Free Course and any other material you requested
- To send the newsletter and related email, until you unsubscribe
- To respond to speaking, consulting, and general inquiries
- To understand how the site is used so we can improve it
- To show relevant advertising on other platforms
- To comply with law
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Service providers who help us operate, and only for that purpose. That includes our own self-hosted system on mrwhatley.com, sending through Postmark for email delivery, our website host, our form processor, and our analytics and advertising providers. Each has access only to what it needs.
We also disclose information when the law requires it, when we need to protect our rights or somebody’s safety, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or sale.
How long we keep it
Email subscriber records are kept until you unsubscribe and for a reasonable period after, so we can honor your request not to be contacted. Inquiry and application records are kept as long as needed for the business relationship and for our records afterward. Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings of the platforms listed above.
Your choices
Unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of every message. That link works and it works immediately.
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@mrwhatley.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act and the General Data Protection Regulation. Those rights include access, correction, deletion, portability, and the right to object to certain processing. California residents have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising those rights, and we do not offer financial incentives for personal information.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking them may affect how parts of the site work.
Most browsers offer a Do Not Track signal. There is no common standard for responding to it, so this site does not respond to it at this time.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International visitors
This site is operated in the United States and your information is processed here. If you are visiting from outside the United States, you are consenting to that transfer.

Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be announced by email to subscribers.
